• How to recognize an insect – the outside working parts of an insect
• How insects grow
• How insects smell, taste see and hear
• How they fly, move and feed
We will also be discussing beneficial and harmful insects in our eco-system.
After the lesson we will play “The Bug Game”; if time permits we will go on an exploration hike to find bugs and their habitats.
Finally we will be making a BUGS and DIRT snack.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, sun and bug protection.
